Easier said than done. Yasuhito Endo, former national soccer player of Japan, often says “it is a fool who is saying ‘tomorrow I’ll do anything.’” After finishing her second day in Rookie Camp, Aya Tamura always says hello to every staff with a smile on her face.

“They prepare for breakfast early in the morning and warmly welcome us. Now I’m working as a staff in the tournament. I will never forget their kindness I received. When I play tournament. I want to be such a player and I did that.”

She got exemption of the final Qualifying Tournament this year to turn professional. This was her second try. “When I was the third grade at elementary school, I won in the tournament for the elementary school children in Hokkaido. I was very glad to show a result and then, I decided to turn pro in future. But this year in case I failed again, I would give up my dream, because life goes on .I don’t want my family to be worried anymore,” she revealed.

Last April, she reconsidered her life from all aspects. “A day is short. How I can spend my time effectively? I decided to get up very early. My life starts at 4 in the morning and at 4 in the evening I finish practicing. After that I go to gym. I spend my time effectively before going to bed.” Total time to practice is much the same as before. But she is now spending productive days. Professional golfer gets up early. “I heard we have difficulty getting up early in Rookie Camp. But it is never bothering me. Today I got up at 3 to practice and had breakfast calmly.”

Her father Fuminori made 7-year-old Tamura to play golf. “That was the first after school activities for me and it was exciting .In particular an exhilarating sound when a golf club hit a ball, an wind roar of a golf club….I had never heard and I like them very much.”she was all smiles.

There were seven in her family, her parents, two sisters and as many brothers and she. But now only Tamura plays golf “My family is very close. Playing golf needs much money and they helped me to realize my dream. But I sometimes thought if I hadn’t dreamed of pro, I wouldn’t live by myself. away from my family. I could travel with them.” Her family stayed in Hokkaido but now lived in Miyagi. Fuminori, former clinical technologist, left his company to support his precious daughter. “I might have my dream come true at the expense of his life.” she muttered but soon smiled again. She has a very wonderful family, everyone would feel. It was Hokkaido meiji Cup where she first played as a pro and then, she was a wild card by sponsor. She made the cut to finish at 32th tie. Nest is MIYAGI TV CUP DUNLOP LADIES OPEN in Rifu Golf Club, which is her home course. “I’ve been practicing there.Beautiful flowers never bloom without efforts, whether soil is better or not. When I make a good result, everyone will be happy, I believe,”

She comes out of her room during her free time and swings a golf club. This is the Rookie Camp and around her rivals are there. She must spend her time effectively.
